Guerlain Asia Exclusive Pearl White 2009

Guerlain's not-so-new Asia-exclusive Pearl White collection was launched in early 2009, but I figured since I'll be reviewing the foundation, you might want a little background info on the collection and all the products available from it.I have to say that Guerlain's packaging was the most aesthetically appealing, which is why I couldn't resist indulging in the foundation!
One product that I had a very hard time resisting was Guerlain's Parure White Pact which came in a gorgeous sleek silver compact. During my last trip to Korea I purchased a Guerlain powder foundation compact that was just heavenly, but of course they discontinued it and replaced it witha powder that was pure rubbish. I was tempted to get this but refrained lest this compact veer towards being more like the newer powder foundations rather than the older formula.

The Meteorites Pearly White consist of pastel white, pastel mauve, pastel pink, pastel green and pastel gold balls to create a pearly soft-focus glow. The 5 shades each have a different function: pastel white for brightening, pastel mauve for addressing dullness, pastel pink for lively color, pastel green for reducing redness in skin and pastel gold for a golden glow. I find that I never really use my Meteorites so I avoid them, but this incarnation of them was one of the prettiest I've seen in awhile.

My latest acquisition, the Parure Pearly White Brightening Fluid Foundation SPF 15 PA+++, is available in six shades and is made with natural pearl for a soft focus finish to reduce the appearance of pores and to give a natural glow. It's specially formulated for Asian skin and is meant to replicate the look of flawless, luminous natural skin. Let's hope it delivers!

And one more product that caught my eye from the Pearly White collection was this Parure Pearly White Brightening Highlighter which comes in click-pen form. It contains a soft iridescent white highlighter that would've been great for highlighting my cheekbones.
